Ms. Smith has reached out to the Community Outreach committee asking for donations for clothing. It happens from time to time that a student spills, falls, has an accident, etc. and needs a change of clothes in order to remain in school for the day. We are reaching out for donations for socks, pants, sweatpants, leggings, and t-shirts all in various sizes to keep in the nurses offices for such “emergencies”. A box will be set up in the main office beginning on Monday, September 26th to accept donations.
If you would like to donate but are unable to drop your items off, please contact Jamie Konzelman ([email protected]) to arrange for a pick up/drop off.
Thank you for your help!
There is no school Monday, September 5th

We are currently participating in an all school read aloud of The Lemonade War. During that day, we will have an assembly for all students to attend. In the evening, we are having a Literacy Night. Mrs. Davis will give a presentation to all families who attend. After that, we will have various stations with a lemonade theme set up where students can have fun with their friends and family.
Please turn in your RSVP by Mar 9th so that we can account for all those that plan on attending and prepare.
Pasta for Pennies presented by Olive Garden is a service learning, character education and philanthropy program that gives students a unique experience by making a difference through teamwork. Students work together to aid in the fight against blood cancers like leukemia through the collection of dimes, nickels, quarters and
PENNIES. The money can come from piggy banks, friends, relatives or even the couch cushions! This is a wonderful service project that helps provide students the great sense of pride in helping others. Students will receive an individual collection box for home that will be added to the classroom collection box. Mrs. Kazonovitz, our school social worker, will determine how much is earned by classrooms each week, as well as how much is collected school-wide.
There will be a school-wide assembly tomorrow Monday, Feb 1st explaining the endeavor to our kiddos. Grades 3-5 will be at 1:00 pm, with grades K-2 to follow at 1:30 pm.
Last year was quite successful…looking forward to another great year!
